As part of our recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, our teams at Blackwater Mine came together in meaningful ways to honour the day with respect, reflection, and solidarity.

At our offices, employees participated in a powerful Lunch & Learn session led by Annie Korver, founder of Rise Consulting and a citizen of the Métis Nation. Annie shared insights on Economic Reconciliation and Relational Credibility—highlighting how authentic Indigenous inclusion in economic and community development fosters equity, prosperity, and meaningful partnerships.
We’re proud of the thoughtful and intentional ways our teams engaged, demonstrating not only empathy and respect, but a genuine commitment to learning and contributing to reconciliation in a meaningful way.
