Artemis Gold Inc., listed on the TSX Venture exchange, is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining friendly jurisdictions. Our current focus is the recently acquired Blackwater Gold Project in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver.

Blackwater is an advanced-stage development project which received its environmental assessment approvals in 2019 and is proceeding towards permitting, with the goal of commencing construction in 2022. The Company published a Feasibility Study in September 2021 which reflects a 22 year mine life, a low strip ratio of 2:1 and a net present value of C$2.15B at a long-term consensus gold price of US$1,600/oz.

We are seeking a motivated, highly organized Executive Assistant to support the COO.  The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing the calendar, preparing PowerPoint presentations, organizing travel, and assisting with miscellaneous administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the COO’s calendar up to date, including adding events, rescheduling appointments, and providing daily briefings
  • Book out-of-office meeting locations, and coordinate travel and other required accommodations
  • Prepare and edit PowerPoint presentations as required
  • Provide the necessary support and preparation for meetings, conferences, special projects and off-site visits (collaborating with other departments as necessary) and other events
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
  • Organize and maintain the filing system for the COO
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Track expenses and prepare monthly expense reports
  • Other duties as needed

Qualification

  • Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Post Secondary diploma or certificate in office administration
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong critical thinker
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Dedicated and focused; able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and follow through to achieve goals
